Reducer-Expanders are used to increase the exit point of the conduit to accommodate the glanding (fitting of Grip Cords) of cables. Secondly, reducers are used to reduce down to a lower size conduit.

Reducer-Expanders are used to increase the exit point of the conduit to accommodate the glanding (fitting of Grip Cords) of cables. Secondly, reducers are used to reduce down to a lower size conduit. This will occur when ‘TEEING OFF’ or at the ‘End of the Run’ of the conduit where larger conduits are not necessary.
